Mizuki believed that if he went to Orochimaru, he would be granted even more power, and attempted to steal the Scroll of Seals as a means to please him.
Mizuki also turned out to be very sadistic and extremely cruel. Iruka would often fuss at Naruto not because he hated him, but because he actually cared about his well-being and Iruka wanted Naruto to see that.
Iruka was once like Naruto where he pranked people for attention and knew how Naruto was feeling. After his escape, he was bent on getting revenge on both Naruto and Iruka, hating them more than ever. After dueling with Iruka and nearly killing him with paper bombs, Mizuki broke into the Nara laboratory to get the ingredients and fled to cave where he could concoct his potion.
After hearing Iruka defend him, Naruto helps him fend off Mizuki, using the Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu that he learned from the scroll. Edit as much as you wish, but one little thing If you are going to edit a lot, then make yourself a user and login.
Other than that, enjoy Villains Wiki!!! He is a rogue ninja who betrayed the Leaf Village and attempted to steal a secret scroll from Naruto's possession. In the anime, this was in order to give the scroll to Orochimaru. In English, he was voiced by Michael Reisz as both an adult and a child.
Mizuki was the best friend of Iruka Umino in his youth, but soon began to grow jealous of him following the attack of the Nine-Tailed Fox.
Iruka's parents had died in the attack, and Mizuki noticed that Iruka was suddenly getting more attention from the villagers, causing him to become increasingly jealous. Despite his newfound hatred towards Iruka, Mizuki still pretended to be his best friend, while at the same time relishing in his misery. When Mizuki applied for a teaching position at the academy, the Third Hokage discovered that one of Mizuki's teammates had died of suffocation on a mission, yet had only a minor, non-lethal leg wound.
Mizuki was turned down and Iruka instead got the job, causing him to eventually hate the Leaf Village. As it turns out, Orochimaru himself saw Mizuki murder his teammate, which peaked his interest. He left him with instructions for a potion after giving him a Curse Mark. After Naruto was the only one not to graduate with the rest of his classmates, Mizuki manipulated him into stealing the Scroll of Seals to improve his skills. He originally planned to kill Naruto and take the scroll for himself, but soon after Iruka showed up, Mizuki revealed Naruto's identity as the Nine-Tailed Fox.
After hearing Iruka defend him, Naruto helps him fend off Mizuki, using the Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu that he learned from the scroll.
After Mizuki was beaten into unconsciousness, he was declared a missing-nin and incarcerated in Konoha's maximum security prison. However, his time in prison didn't soothe his hatred towards Naruto and Iruka.
In the anime-exclusive Mizuki Strikes Back arc, it is revealed that he actually intended to give the Scroll of Seals to Orochimaru. He planned to escape from prison with the help of the Legendary Stupid Brothers and create the potion that Orochimaru requested.
When Naruto returns to Konoha after the time skip, he learns how powerful the other elders in the village are. When the truth about Itachi's past was discovered, it was revealed that the Third Hokage opposed the plan to wipe out the Uchiha clan, but the three village elders Danzo, Homura, and Koharu had the ability to outvote him and sanction the massacre of hundreds of villagers.
It seemed as it Homura and Koharu were being planned for something big, as they were always opposing Tsunade's rule and deemed Naruto to be a threat. Sasuke also had plans to kill the two of them, as they were involved in the destruction of his clan. None of these plots came to pass and they are last seen planning for the upcoming war against Tobi. Mizuki was the first ever antagonist in Naruto.
He was the one who tricked Naruto into stealing the forbidden scroll so that he could dispose of Naruto and leave the village with the scroll in his possession. Naruto is able to defeat Mizuki with the aid of his new Shadow Clone Jutsu and he is never mentioned again. Mizuki did make another appearance in a terrible anime filler arc, where he was revealed to be a servant of Orochimaru and turned into a tiger monster.
He is captured at the end of the arc and sent to prison. If this is considered canon and it really shouldn't be, considering how bad it is , then what happened to Mizuki when Pain attacked Konoha? Was he killed? Was he brought back to life at the end of the arc? Was he able to escape when most of the buildings in Konoha were flattened? It really seemed as if Masashi Kishimoto had something big planned for Yugao at one point.
We likely will never learn what those plans were, as she never followed through on her vow of vengeance. Yugao Uzuki was a member of the Anbu and the former lover of Hayate. When Hayate was slain by Baki during the Chunin Exam arc, Yugao visited his grave and swore to get revenge for his death. Baki would later make a second appearance during the Gaara Retrieval arc, but Yugao was nowhere to be seen.
Her revenge plot was dropped totally from the story of the manga. It took an anime filler episode to explain why she had given up her plans, which involved Hayate being brought back as an undead soldier and the two of them fighting each other.
Nothing like this happened in the manga. The Gaara Retrieval arc involved the history of the Hidden Sand village being revealed. This was partly due to the presence of Sasori, who was one of the most powerful shinobi to have ever been created by Sunagakure, yet he had defected and now sought to destroy the village.
Sasori's grandmother, Chiyo, played an important part in this arc, as she was one of the few people who were familiar with his equipment and techniques. Chiyo's brother, Ebizo, was also introduced during this arc and held similar views about how the Hidden Sand village had grown weak over time. Ebizo never took part in the mission to stop his wayward grandnephew and never involved himself in the war against Tobi.
Ebizo was introduced as being one of the few people with the knowledge to fight Sasori, yet he didn't do anything. He may as well have not existed. Jiraiya was fond of summoning large toads that could help him in battle. It was during his fight with Pain that he finally broke out the big guns and summoned two of the most powerful toads in existence -- Fukasaku and Shima. Upon discovering that Naruto gained acknowledgement after risking his life to defend the village, Mizuki grew angrier than ever at him, while refusing to accept the boy's heroism, and instead accused the villagers of being easily excited.
When Mizuki overheard the Third Hokage and the examination committee suspecting his field of conduct as a reason for not promoting him, he felt that they wronged him for accomplishing a mission no matter the cost, and developed a grudge against the village for feeling they neither appreciate nor understand his powers and efforts. He reached his tipping point of betraying the village when Orochimaru praised his actions and gave him a cursed seal; Mizuki came to the delusion that Orochimaru truly acknowledged his potential, and held the renegade to high regard.
Mizuki believed if he went to Orochimaru, he would be granted even more power, and attempted to steal the Scroll of Seals as a means to please him.
Mizuki has proven himself to be sadistic; even as a child, he found satisfactions by watching Iruka wallow in misery of losing his parents, stating that having someone to look down on feels great. Upon his second confrontation with Iruka and Naruto, Mizuki declared that he intends to kill them slowly and painfully, as payback for having him arrested.
During this, he constantly mocked Iruka's ideals of comradeship and memories, while derogatorily regarding Naruto as a "monster fox" and "nine-tails brat". Mizuki has white shoulder-length hair with a slight hint of blue to it and green eyes.
He wore the standard attire of the Konoha-nin before his defection, which included flak jacket and forehead protector that he wore like a bandanna. Upon being sentenced to the Konoha Strict Correctional Facility in the anime, he wore the prisoner's uniform of a grey tunic with matching pants, with his prisoner number on the back, and going barefoot. During this time, he became much more muscular and well-defined in build to the point Naruto didn't recognise him at first. When Mizuki escaped from prison, he changed into an opened black vest, tight black pants, and a dark brown belt which had a silver rectangular belt buckle.
When Mizuki drank the potion concocted from his cursed seal, he gained tiger-like stripes, which also gave him a more feral look. After the potion's effect wore off and his cells began a self-destruction, Mizuki shrivelled up into a frail and decrepit old man, his skin darkened brown and his skin heavily wrinkled. However, Tsunade managed to stabilise his deterioration, and even restored his appearance to his original form, before his time in prison.
However, he claimed that he can use the Scroll of Seals to gain infinite power, showing confidence in his own potential. Later, in the anime, he was revealed to be a very clever and talented ninja with a knack for learning advanced techniques, having taught himself various techniques and creatively coordinated them together to corner his opponents.
Even the Third Hokage admits he is an excellent shinobi. He was also shown to be a very cunning manipulator, having planned out his own escape from prison. Mizuki gained mastery of a random assortment of techniques. While mostly improvised, he proved very capable of using them in creative combinations that Iruka just barely survived; Mizuki was able to use Earth Release , which allowed him to hide underground and then stretch his arm from below to strike down his unsuspecting foe, and a combination of a binding illusion and controlling a simple puppet that wielded a sword to finish off a helpless target at a safe distance.
During his training while in prison, he obtained an extreme amount of raw strength, able to quickly pressure Iruka in their initial clash with a single hand. Also from his time spent in such darkness, Mizuki's eyesight adapted to fighting in darkness and likewise able to seamlessly move about while keeping himself undetected.
Orochimaru granted Mizuki a tattoo which was a formula of a potion to transform one into a musclebound behemoth of himself with tremendous raw speed and strength.
By focusing his chakra, he could further the transformation into a tiger-like being with even greater strength but reduced speed.
